About Us
About Bits and Places
BitsAndPlaces was created with one simple idea:
Who We Are
BitsAndPlaces was founded by John, who also runs the vacation rental management company IonBnB LLC. After years of managing properties and seeing how large booking platforms frustrated guests and hosts with high fees and a lack of direct connection, John created BitsAndPlaces. Today, IonBnB handles the hands-on, day-to-day physical care of the properties, while BitsAndPlaces serves as the guest-focused direct booking platform.
Our mission is simple:
“Our mission is simple: to provide a transparent, fun, and rewarding booking experience that directly connects travelers with trusted hosts.”
What Makes Us Different
We believe booking a vacation should feel as welcoming as the stay itself. By focusing on direct booking, we make sure you have a clear, personal connection with your host from the very start, without any surprise fees getting in the way. To make planning your trip even more fun, we offer an innovative Bitcoin reward program that gives you the chance to earn a promotional discount on your stay. Want to see exactly how you can benefit?
The People Behind BitsAndPlaces
BitsAndPlaces was founded by John Kraehling, a passionate hospitality professional who also created the local vacation rental management company, IonBnB LLC.
